Seeing Is Seeing
02:27
|
|||
Words by: Keagan Hughes
Basic and simple, to the point
A trial I left behind to anoint
Questioning my sanity
My raging brain is gleaming
I say "can you see it"
You say "it was never there"
You think seeing is seeing
Think nothing of what appears
Boring and careless, rushing life
Living in panic and in plight
To you I'm a monster with a disease
Anything and everything won't please
I say "can you hear it"
You say "you are hearing things"
In a world where seeing is seeing
That must be what you believe
Thoughts as bland as printer paper
A simpleton, nothing new occurs
I heard that you grew tired
Of living life very uninspired
I say "can you see it"
You say "it was never there"
You think seeing is seeing
Think nothing of what appears

Rebirth In The Sun
02:04
|
|||
Words by: Keagan Hughes
The sweat of divine
He said he came back
I cut him some slack
Felt like an attack
Rebirth in the sun
Drowning in one
Once more my friend
As we shake hands again
Altering states
My matter is fine
Crushing the light
Loosing your sight
Rebirth in the sun
Drowning in one
Once more my friend
As we shake hands again
Used for beauty
Obsessed by using
Patterns for knives
Now it's you on the line
Rebirth in the sun
Drowning in one
Once more my friend
As we shake hands again
Now you're in full bloom

A Familiar Line
03:26
|
|||
Words by: Keagan Hughes
As an angel collapses
And an emotion casts a spell
A familiar line is met
At the heart of the spill
I am the statue in your head
The reason why you all are dead
So very proud to have you here
I'll eat you till you disappear
Exiting the questions
Entering the fear
Living under rocks
It was going nowhere
I am the statue in your head
The reason why you all are dead
So very proud to have you here
I'll eat you till you disappear
A visual nightmare
For a scattered dog
Eating all the information
While dancing through the fog
I am the statue in your head
The reason why you all are dead
So very proud to have you here
I'll eat you till you disappear

Leaving This Mess
01:28
|
|||
Words by: Henry Burton
I moved an hour away
So I didn't have to be you're neighbor
But it seems like everyday
You still knock on my door
I pretend I'm sick
Like I have terminal cancer
You ask if I'm okay
I said I would be if I were alone
Let me show you the door
Please don't take it the wrong way
You would have way more fun
If you were in another place
I don't care what you say about me
I know what I did was wrong
Don't worry about it too much
Life isn't that long
I'm leaving this mess
I'm leaving this mess
I'm leaving this mess
With no regrets

What's Left
02:34
|
|||
Words by: Keagan Hughes
Taking the alternative route
To which I cannot find
Left another world behind
To see what it's like to try
I abandon all who see
The mirror reflections within me
Dancing through the waves
Losing the last of my brain
Holding the hilt of this sword
Jumping off the diving board
I can't make myself my own lord
What's left is ripped and torn
The almighty hand is coming
Coming back around
Swept me off my feet
Slammed me in the ground
The end is clouding up
The remains of sanity
Seek out falling luck
Stepping over the seeds
Holding the hilt of this sword
Jumping off the diving board
I can't make myself my own lord
What's left is ripped and torn
There is not much that is left
Into a darkness, emptiness
Dreading the future, loathe the past
Caress you lover, don't look back
Holding the hilt of this sword
Jumping off the diving board
I can't make myself my own lord
What's left is ripped and torn

Kill Me
01:57
|
|||
Words by: Henry Burton
KILL ME
I am sick
Just an employee
Of counterfeit
KILL ME
I'm not yet dead
But buried at sea
Turning the ocean red
KILL ME
I am a god
I get to oversee
When all is gone
KILL ME
I hate my band
From what I see
I'm in a concentration camp
Kill me....

5:14
02:27
|
|||
Words by: Henry Burton
My friend is a roach
Stuck in a whale
Nothing to loathe
Except for the failed
Projects of his past
Nothing was meant to last
Everything crashed and burned
Like the engine that could
He's trying to get out
With wooden machines
That he made out
Of fallen trees
Stories were told
Rumors were spread
Each with the conclusion
Hope was finally dead
I'm not the one found by Christ
I'm not the one who got to die
I'm not the one who got to decide
Whether or not I am divine
I want to go home
But there's no way back
I miss my friends
But I have to face the facts
The clock strikes 5:14
Departures garuntee'd
I have nothing to give to you
My time here was abused
These are my goodbyes
Last message no reply
Doesn't imply my death
I'll never see your eyes

Distance Between Us
01:47
|
|||
Words by: Henry Burton
There are 100 inches
In a fruit by the foot
Now there is none of it left
Except for my heart
And all of my feelings
Said "Fuck you for leaving"
I know it's not a choice
But we could have made some noise
And I wish we could have been better friends
Talking late at night about our favorite bands
And I hope we can make some newer friends
Mine can be as cool as you but your's can't be as cool as me
You left for a job
So I lost faith in god
Didn't need him anyway
He just got in the way
In this sugarcrush
I just wanted one damn touch
If I were to know now
I wouldn't be so down
And I wish we could have spent our lives
In a house together with diamond studded knives
And I hope I can make it through the years
Without seeing you for five fucking years
If you were to stay
Would I still feel A-OK
Or would i want to die
Because of that guy
Who said he was my best friend
But really fucked me in the end
If I were to know now
Would I still feel so damn down?
And I wish we could have been better friends
Talking late at night about our religions
And I hope we can make some newer friends
Mine can be as cool as you but your's can't be as cool as me
And in the years to come
I might forget about you
Please don't forget about me...

Words by: Henry Burton
You said that I filled up your heart
My smile was a beautiful work of art
You weren't ugly but not too smart
You couldn't tell my life was torn apart
I was in love with another girl
Whose eyes were 2 beautiful pearls
But she always made me hurt
When my best friend was a jerk
I want you to break my heart
Drown my life in a meaningless work of art
I want you to break my heart
Tell me it's too late for another start
Your best friend says you're depressed
I'm a bit scared because your a bit obsessed
What your feeling is making me stressed
I don't want your love just your happiness
Some never have both
Just curl up with something to loathe
It's time that I closed
The curtains of my heart's windows
I want you to break my heart

Billy & The Sundance Kid
02:00
|
|||
Words by: Henry Burton
Billy and the Sundance kid
Walked into town without suspicion
They were full followed by the law
They were constantly running from
They walked into a local bar
Since law enforcement seemed so far.
Billy drank himself some wine
With Sundance there right by his side
If Billy got too drunk
Sundance'd be there to wake the punk
And if law enforcement got there
Pistols out they shoot their way outta there
The two were finally branded
They were cornered, caught red hand
They. Wanted to paint the town red
But forgot to clean up, Not part of the plan
That ends the story of two best friends
What better way then with a bang
Their story's never to be forgotten
Even though in real life they never met in person
